Sodium bicarbonate, also known as baking soda, has been used for centuries for a myriad of applications and today remains an environmentally friendly compound revered for its versatility.

FMC produces a full range of grades of sodium bicarbonate at our vertically integrated facility in Green River, WY. FMC’s position as the alkali leader in natural trona based products reflects our commitment to the sodium bicarbonate industry. In 2009 FMC sodium bicarbonate received organic certification from the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI).

FMC is also capable of producing Hemodialysis Grade sodium bicarbonate for treatment in association with blood dialysis. The stringent quality and purity specifications of Hemodialysis Grade are closely monitored by our world class team. FMC is also FDA certified and proud to provide this life saving material to customers.

Sodium bicarbonate is available in bulk; shipped by hopper truck, pneumatic truck or rail cars. Sodium bicarbonate is also packaged in 50 lb. poly-lined bags and various poly supersack sizes. Packaged product is palletized and wrapped for shipment at our Green River, WY facility or other warehouses throughout the United States.
