FMC's USP grades of sodium bicarbonate, also known as baking soda, are a standard for baking applications. Sodium bicarbonate is used in virtually all leavening systems for the preparation of baked goods. Sodium bicarbonate is typically used in cakes, donuts, muffins, pancakes, cookies, and many similar baked products. FMC produces all grades of sodium bicarbonate for use in the food industry that meet USP specifications.

Also, FMC offers environmentally-friendly sanitizers for food and food processing. VigorOx™ Liquid Sanitizer & Disinfectant uses peracetic acid chemistry.
